About Byz360

Byz360 is inventory management, point-of-sale and small-business accounting in one app — built specifically for the way retail trades in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.

Why we built it

Most accounting and POS software in the region was built for somewhere else and dropped into East Africa as an afterthought. It does not understand M-Pesa as a primary payment method, it does not understand mali-kwa-mkono credit, and it costs more per month than many shops make in a day. So we built something different — for the shops we know best.

What we do differently

  • Mobile-first. Byz360 runs on the entry-level Android phone you already own. No expensive POS terminal required.
  • Offline-tolerant. Power cut or no internet? Keep selling. Everything syncs when you are back online.
  • Local payments first. M-Pesa, Tigo Pesa, MTN MoMo, Airtel Money — tracked as distinct payment methods, not lumped under "other".
  • Tax authority-aware. KRA, URA and TRA-friendly VAT and receipts out of the box.
  • Affordable. Pricing aimed at single-shop dukawallas, not enterprise procurement teams.
